About Me

Fifteen years ago, my pivot from high school teacher to hairdresser began an unexpected journey. As an educator, I enjoyed inspiring others to learn. As a stylist, I loved working with creative hairdressers and loyal clients. I combined these passions to become an academy instructor, developing curricula and teaching budding stylists. Later, as a brand educator and sales professional, and eventually as Global Education and Training Director for two of the world’s leading professional haircare brands, I was inspired by salon owners and stylists across the country.

Throughout my journey, one lesson has resonated: hairdressers yearn for knowledge. Whether on social media, in stores, at shows, or in person, hairdressers are always looking. They’re looking for the newest techniques, skills, products, and tools to set them apart. They’re looking for you!

I founded Beauty of Learning to help you – the Artist, the Indie Brand, the Salon Company – share your knowledge and skills with the world, clearly and effectively.
